You'll love the feel of the fast, 5-piece maple/walnut Super Wizard HP neck. It plays very smooth out of the case all I had to do was tune it up. The frets are finished extremely well and the satin finished neck is SO much better than painted or poly finished necks that get all sticky and uncomfortable. The birds eye fretboard is spectacular and a work of art, and the shape and smoothness of the neck and frets allows super easy action, but enough to get a grip on when required. The neck is far thinner and the fretboard flatter than any I've played. Nothing to do with the quality of the instrument.
